How do oil separators work?

Separator systems for light liquids, such as oil or petrol, work according to the principle of gravity. In the separator, heavy substances such as sludge sink to the bottom, while light substances float to the surface.

The oil-free water can then flow out via a drain. When the limit levels of sludge or oil are reached, they can be extracted and disposed of properly.

How do grease separators work?

Just like light liquid separators, grease separators work according to the principle of gravity.

First, the wastewater is collected in the separator. Fats that are lighter than water float to the surface and collect there. Solids, such as residues from food production, sink to the bottom.

Here too, the grease-free waste water flows out via the drain. When the limit levels of sludge or grease are reached, they can be extracted and disposed of properly.
