Plant 1:
Chemical-physical treatment plant
At the chemical-physical treatment plant in Gütersloh, SUV treats non-combustible liquid waste according to its composition. Following an initial analysis, suitable material streams are assigned to the approved treatment or recovery processes. Technical purification and separation processes are used for this purpose. The operation, inspection, and further development of the facility are carried out in accordance with the relevant technical, regulatory, and occupational safety requirements.
Plant 4:
Solids conditioning plant
At the solid waste conditioning plant, mineral waste is processed and treated according to its material properties. The goal is to prepare suitable waste for an approved recycling route or, if recycling is not possible, to ensure it meets the requirements for proper landfilling. The selection of the disposal route is based on analysis results, acceptance criteria, and applicable legal and permitting requirements. Together with our customers, we coordinate the necessary steps for each specific waste stream.
We process select types of hazardous waste
Subject to the results of the declaration analysis, the list of accepted materials, and the facility permit, the range of services includes, among other things, acids and alkalis, coolants and lubricants, drilling muds, paints and varnishes, rinse and wash water, glue and adhesive residues, and firefighting water.

As the operator of a facility subject to the relevant major-accident prevention regulations, SUV implements organizational and technical measures to prevent major accidents and limit their potential impacts. These include regular tests and inspections, training for employees on handling hazardous substances, and operational emergency and hazard response plans.
