Permit management

We assist companies in preparing and drafting permit applications, particularly under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and the Water Resources Act (WHG). To this end, we organize the necessary documentation, facilitate technical coordination, and support communication with the relevant authorities. The decision on the application rests with the respective competent authority.

Provision of company representatives

We provide qualified facility representatives for the areas of waste management, major accidents, pollution control, and water protection. They support facility operators in fulfilling their legal obligations through consultation, monitoring, and documentation. The operator’s responsibility remains unaffected.

Research and development

In the area of research and development, ZIMMERMANN Engineering investigates new and improved processes for wastewater and waste treatment. The results are incorporated into the planning and further development of treatment concepts, provided they are technically suitable and applicable to the respective project.

We advise companies on operational environmental management processes and, when commissioned, on aligning their operations with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14001. Our focus is on identifying relevant environmental aspects, defining operational measures, and documenting the respective management processes.

Our in-house workshop supports the manufacturing, customization, and repair of systems and system components. The engineering and workshop teams coordinate planning and practical implementation directly with one another.
