Tank Cleaning in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
At its Bitterfeld-Wolfen site in the chemical park, the ZIMMERMANN Group operates two fully equipped lines for the interior cleaning of tanker trucks, silo trucks, and tank containers. The facility is equipped with a total of 11 rinsing heads and two steam connections. In addition, a new IBC cleaning station with four bays is available. This allows the facility to handle a variety of cleaning and service requirements at a single location.
Two cleaning lines and an additional service track
With the newly opened second full-scale cleaning line, the Bitterfeld-Wolfen facility now has two lines—or tracks—for tank interior cleaning. A total of 11 rinse heads and two steam connections are available. The equipment is supplemented by a new IBC cleaning station with four bays. The clear division of the areas supports the structured processing of different orders.

- Issuance of the EFTCO Cleaning Document (ECD) to document cleaning, provided that the relevant requirements are met
- BAM Inspection Station at the Site
Documented Procedures and Technical Equipment
The technical equipment is designed for the internal cleaning of various transport containers. Two full-scale cleaning lines with a total of 11 spray heads and two steam connections, as well as a new IBC cleaning station with four stations, are available for this purpose. Cleaning procedures and other work steps are determined according to the specific order. Digital order processing ensures traceable order fulfillment. Upon completion, the cleaning can be confirmed with the EFTCO Cleaning Document (ECD), provided that the applicable requirements are met.
