ZIMMERMANN treatment Ost has been part of the ZIMMERMANN Group since 1997. At our locations in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and Ladeburg in Saxony-Anhalt, we offer services for hazardous waste. CP Treatment of Liquid Hazardous Waste in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
At the Bitterfeld-Wolfen Chemical Park, ZIMMERMANN treatment Ost has been operating two chemical-physical treatment facilities for non-combustible liquid waste since 2009. The selection and control of the treatment process are based on the composition and analyzed properties of the respective waste. The facilities are operated and further developed in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Two independently operated CP systems
According to current operational data, CP Plants 1 and 2 together have a total processing capacity of up to 750 metric tons per day. Weekend operations expand the time frame for waste acceptance and processing. Acceptance is subject to capacity, waste type, analysis, authorization, and operational approval.
Environmental Analysis and Incoming Goods Inspection at the Eastern Branch of the " treatment "
Environmental analysis supports intake inspections and the determination of appropriate treatment methods. The laboratory focuses in particular on analyzing waste samples and, depending on the assignment, handles the sampling, analysis, and evaluation of waste and other environmental media. Suitable analytical equipment and professionally qualified staff are available for this purpose.
Tank Cleaning in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
At our facility, we offer interior cleaning services for tank trucks, silos, and IBC containers. Cleaning is performed on a product- and job-specific basis. Provided that the relevant requirements are met, the service is documented in accordance with the guidelines of the ECC-ENFIT Cleaning Certificate. The scope, execution, and documentation are agreed upon before the order is accepted.
Hazardous Waste Treatment and Temporary Storage in Ladeburg
On Karl-Marx-Straße in Ladeburg, ZIMMERMANN treatment Ost operates a recycling facility, a solid waste treatment plant, and an authorized interim storage facility for hazardous waste. An on-site laboratory supports environmental analysis. Suitable waste is treated after its properties have been tested and, to the extent technically and legally feasible, processed for further recovery. Hazardous and other authorized waste is stored in the interim storage facility until it is treated, recovered, or disposed of.
Emergency Preparedness at Units 5 and 6
Operational measures are in place at Plant 5 in Ladeburg and Plant 6 in Bitterfeld-Wolfen to prevent major accidents. These include regular inspections, briefings, and training on the handling of hazardous substances, as well as site-specific emergency response and hazard mitigation plans. Workshop and Industrial Services in Ladeburg
Garage for commercial vehicles , and Industrieservice Ost are located at the administrative headquarters at Friedensstraße 19. The workshop provides maintenance, inspection, and repair services for commercial vehicles in accordance with the agreed-upon scope of services. The industrial services include separator maintenance and separator technology—including construction and refurbishment services—as well as tank cleaning.

The administrative offices of ZIMMERMANN treatment Ost are located at Friedensstraße 19 in Ladeburg. From there, site-specific operations for Plant 5 in Ladeburg and Plant 6 in Bitterfeld-Wolfen are coordinated.
