Eberhard Zimmermann GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Gütersloh, is the holding company of the ZIMMERMANN Group. Since 1962, central functions of the group have been coordinated from this location. According to the company’s current structure, the family-run group comprises thirteen companies in Germany that provide services related to the transportation, treatment, recycling, and treatment of hazardous waste, as well as plant engineering.

Since its founding by Eberhard and Christa Zimmermann in 1962, the ZIMMERMANN Group has continued to grow and evolve. Eberhard Zimmermann GmbH & Co. KG has been led by Gerhard Zimmermann, Eberhard Zimmermann Jr., and Reinhard Zimmermann since 1997.
With David Zimmermann, the third generation has been part of the company's leadership since 2025 and is helping to shape the future of the corporate group.

New Administrative Building
Due to the company’s growth, the administrative headquarters in Gütersloh was expanded.
The three-story building, which was completed in mid-2025, features approximately 2,700 square meters of space, 94 office workstations, five conference rooms, and a cafeteria with seating for 50. The investment totaled approximately 8 million euros.
Depending on their location and the scope of their permits, the companies of the ZIMMERMANN Group handle the receipt, transport, treatment, recycling, or treatment of liquid, solid, and pasty hazardous wastes. Certified waste management companies and licensed facilities operate in accordance with the applicable legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Whether and by what method a waste can be recycled or disposed of is determined based on its properties, analysis, and the available and approved treatment methods.
