works at ZIMMERMANN Treatment North in Liebenau:

My name is Hajo Haßfeld and I have been working at Zimmermann since 01.12.2019. After graduating from high school, I trained as an environmental technology assistant and completed a two-week internship at Zimmermann in October 2019 - both in the laboratory and in the CP area. I liked this insight so much that I then started as a jumper in the laboratory and in the CP area. Over time, I was then able to focus mainly on working in the laboratory and continuously develop my skills. I now work exclusively in the laboratory as a chemical laboratory technician.

My tasks include the incoming analysis of trucks and X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF), for which I have now also taken over responsibility for the equipment. During my time at Zimmermann, I was also able to obtain a forklift license and take part in various training courses to continuously expand my knowledge.

What I particularly like about my work is the variety. No two days are the same and I find it exciting to work with substances that you don't see in everyday life. I get a very good insight into the entire chemical spectrum here. The working environment is also great: I appreciate the cooperation with my colleagues and the way we interact with each other. I also find the short distances and quick decisions particularly positive. The opportunity to work in a rural environment and never have the feeling of being "just a number" is another advantage for me. My superiors always have an open ear. The new company health insurance is of course a great added value that I didn't even know about before.

But I'm not just part of the Zimmermann team. In my free time, I'm active in my home community - I'm involved in the Darlaten fire department and the shooting club. I'm also a keen diver, snowboarder and angler - the perfect balance to my work.
