My name is Niklas Passon and I am 27 years old. Before I joined the Zimmermann Group, I worked as a retail salesman in a specialist interior design store. I wanted to change my career direction and came across the Zimmermann Group when they advertised a vacancy in our local newspaper. They were looking for a commercial employee for the location in Liebenau and I applied for this position. After an introductory interview, I was offered the job.
I have been part of the Zimmermann Group since May 2024. My tasks include weighing the trucks in and out. I also create the delivery bills for our drivers, with all the associated documents, i.e. delivery bills, acceptance bills, consignment bills and transport stickers for the containers. I also support my colleagues in the invoicing department by sorting the paperwork so that it can be invoiced smoothly. Regular phone calls with customers about their concerns are also part of my everyday work.
What I enjoy most about my work is that I constantly have to master new challenges. Every day brings new tasks that allow me to play an active role in ensuring that the day runs smoothly. Another thing I enjoy is working with different people and, of course, my colleagues. It's exciting to see how different approaches can lead to a common goal. The feedback I receive from my colleagues also helps me to constantly develop.
