works for the holding company of the ZIMMERMANN Group in Gütersloh:

My name is Lukas Brysch and I have been working for the Zimmermann Group since 2005. I started my commercial training here almost 20 years ago and quickly realized that the company management supports ambition and commitment. I was allowed to shorten my training and immediately after my apprenticeship I completed a degree in business administration. I then worked in sales for several years. Since 2015, I have been in charge of Waste stream management with a great team and have been an authorized signatory for around two years now.

I've enjoyed coming into the office from day one and taking on a variety of exciting tasks. Waste disposal and environmental protection are never routine. I enjoy constantly developing new solutions as a team and presenting them to our business partners and feeling the trust and support of the management. It's important to me not to be just "one number" among many, and nobody at Zimmermann is. I am glad that we have retained this privilege, even though we are over 600 colleagues across the Group. I also find it amazing how many branches of industry and commerce you get to know when you deal with the treatment of industrial waste. There's the workshop next door that wants to dispose of cleaning rags and spray cans and, on the other hand, the huge car manufacturer that wants to dispose of its paints and varnishes properly.

ZIMMERMANN is:

Exciting, challenging, never boring and familiar. The mixture makes it special.
